Tollycraft 52 Motor Yacht
The Tollycraft 52 Motor Yacht boasts contemporary styling

With availability scheduled for late 1988, nearly a dozen new Tollycraft 52 Motor Yachts have already been sold to buyers who were attracted by the modern lines and spacious interior. Designed by Ed Monk, Jr., who penned many of the Tolly yachts, and Walter Dorwin Teague, a well-known marine and aircraft stylist, the new Motor Yacht will use the Tollycraft QuadraLift hull. Essentially a staggered double-chine, the shape gives a soft dry ride in rough seas, stability at fuel-efficient cruising speeds, and easy planing on the lower chine.
Standard power is twin 375-horsepower Caterpillar turbo-diesels that are expected to give a top speed of nearly 20 knots and a cruise of over l6. Optional diesels up to 650 hp each will push the top speed to nearly 25 knots. With a displacement of about 25 tons and a fuel tankage of 800 gallons, the cruising range should be considerably more than the average yacht.
